​Information for Potential Students 

​I am not seeking any PhD students at the moment as my group is fully. Regarding future openings. Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication ability, good organizational skills, a strong interest in doing international fieldwork and mixed qualitative and quantitative methods, and a passion for agriculture and conservation. Candidates with prior experience doing independent research, expertise in geo-spatial analysis and programming, and speaking skills relative for tropical research are particularly welcome. Diversity is especially valued and applicants from underrepresented groups are strongly encouraged. Students are expected to actively participate in lab group meetings and events, present research findings at regional and international scientific meetings, and seek out and apply for external funding sources each year.
